On October 11,2012 at 7:00 the Blue Point Bayport Lions
Club will be featuring a local prosthetist. Joseph Ahlert CPO to
discuss and demonstrate the latest in prosthetic technology and care available
to our returning wounded servicemen and woman at Blue Point Library. Mr. Ahlert
will be accompanied by a young bilateral above knee amputee who was recently
fitted with new devices utilizing the latest in microprocessor knee units. This
plans on being an informative and inspiring evening. Refreshments will be
served
