Fired Babysitter Tries to Sign Boy Out of School: Police
The 29-year-old also illegally entered the 4-year-old boy's Long Island home and left him a gift, police say.

A 29-year-old woman is accused of trying to sign a boy she used to babysit out of school and then illegally entering the 4-year-old boy's Sayville home to leave him a gift.
Casey Evans, of Ronkonkoma, is charged with fourth degree stalking and second degree criminal trespass, Suffolk Police said.
According to police, Evans was employed as a babysitter for the boy between August and November 2015.
After being fired by the child’s parents, Evans attempted to sign out the boy from his school on March 30 and, later that day, illegally entered the family’s residence to leave a gift for the child, police said.
Evans was arrested on April 2 and she was arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip the next day. She was released on $1,000 bail and was due back in court on Thursday.
