Food For Fines Yields 118 Bags of Food to Donate

Thank you to all of the residents of Bayport and Blue Point who contributed to Food for Fines at the Bayport-Blue Point Public Library this year!

Between November 1st and December 30th we were able to collect and donate a total of 118 overflowing bags full of food. We donated the first half of our haul, 51 bags from the month of November, to the Town of Brookhaven, and the second half of it, 67 bags from the month of December, to the food pantry at Our Lady of the Snow Church on Blue Point Ave.

We could not have done it without the contributions and generosity of the community!
