Holbrook Man Sold Oxycodone: Police

A 22-year-old Holbrook man was arrested on Thursday and charged with selling oxycodone, State Police said.

During the course of a narcotics investigation, Gallagher sold the powerful prescription painkiller on at least two occasions in Lake Ronkonkoma, police said.

On Thursday, Gallagher was observed selling oxycodone on Gaymore Lane in Farmingville. He was arrested at about 12:35 p.m. Thursday and also found to be in possession of marijuana, police said.

Gallagher is charged with third degree criminal sale of controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.

He was due to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Friday.
