James Wilson Young Hosts Eighth-Grade Awards Night
James Wilson Young Middle School held its annual 8th grade awards ceremony, celebrating the many successes of this year's class.
From Bayport-Blue Point Schools: On June 12, James Wilson Young Middle School held its annual eighth-grade awards ceremony, celebrating the many successes of this year’s class. The music department was proud to present its “Outstanding Musician” awards to James Buchanan (band); Thomas Bott (jazz band); Robert Newbeck and Amy Borghardt (orchestra) and Gabriel Ross (chorus).
The department’s highest honor, the “Distinguished Musician Award” was presented to clarinetist, Jessica Schaller. The Bayport-Blue Point School District congratulates all of the talented musicians.
