BAYPORT-BLUE POINT, NY — Jennifer K. McNamara has been named the 2026 Bayport-Blue Point St. Patrick’s Day Grand Marshal, according to New York State Sen. Dean Murray’s office.

The 36th annual Bayport-Blue Point St. Patrick’s Day Parade is scheduled for Sunday, March 15 at 11 a.m. The parade route will run along Montauk Highway from Snedecor Avenue to Blue Point Avenue, the Chamber said.

Murray’s office described McNamara as an outstanding citizen who has given back through both professional and charitable efforts. McNamara is involved with the FDNY Johnny Mac Foundation, named in memory of her late husband, John McNamara, who responded to the Sept. 11 attacks and participated in cleanup efforts in New York City.
