Let's beat last year's amount! Please donate to Sayville Little League's "Home Runs For Charity", Sayville's local charity that provides funding to Long Island's less fortunate. We make a difference!
Home Runs for Charity was started by Sayville Middle School's 8th grader and Little League player, Noah Horak and has raised over $5,000
Home Runs for Charity is a 501 (c) (3) charitable foundation.
Noah Horak and his father came up with the idea to give back to those less fortunate while visiting the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA in 2014. They were inspired by a key note speaker who said we all have someone to thank for being here today, now it is our time to give back to others. Noah came up with the title ”Home Runs for Charity“ and the ball started rolling. Thanks to Sayville Little League and all our supporters, we have truly, given back and we are just getting started!
Now in our third year of operation, we have proudly raised and distributed $5,000 indirect cash contributions form local businesses and the community at large for various worthy charities on Long Island including, the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island, Long Island Cares, The Neighborhood House, Brookhaven Memorial Hospital and Island Harvest. Our donation to Island Harvest last year alone provided approximately 1,500 pounds of food and 1,200 meals to Long Island families. We are grateful for your help.

We are asking for your help again. Donors pledge a dollar amount for each home run hit by a Sayville Little league player in the 2015 season. Home runs are tracked by each teams’ coach and posted on the score board at the major league field on Broadway. Funds are collected at the end of the season when pledged donations are tallied up.

Pledges are made by individual and businesses and start at $1 for every home run during the regular 2015 season. Or donors may choose a fixed amount of $25 or more. Pledged donations of $250 or more receive special thanks as Charter Donors on our website at the end of year check ceremony.
In the 2014 season a total of 44 home runs were hit. Thanks to all our generous donors! We are aiming to top that figure this summer. Be a part of the fun!
Thank you very much for your help!
