Long Island High Schooler Dies After Medical Emergency On Trip With Family In Pennsylvania: Report
Connetquot Acting Schools Superintendent Bryan Frank announced Galoppe's death in a letter Friday to the school community, Newsday reported.
LONG ISLAND, NY — A 14-year-old freshman at Connetquot High School died Thursday after a medical emergency on a trip with family in Honesdale, Pennsylvania, his family told Newsday.
Gianni Galoppe's father, Robert Galoppe, told the outlet: "He was the brightest light in the world."
Connetquot School District Acting Superintendent of Schools Bryan Frank announced Galoppe's death in a letter Friday to the school community, saying it was "an extraordinarily difficult loss for the entire Connetquot community."
