UPDATE: Drunk Man Crashes Into Motel After Trying to Mow Down Motel Owner: Police
A 35-year-old man faces several charges following the incident Wednesday morning, police say.

SAYVILLE, NY – A 36-year-old man was arrested after he assaulted a person and then crashed a car into a motel's office while attempting to run over the motel's owner Wednesday morning, Suffolk Police said.
It happened at the Sayville Motor Lodge at 5494 Sunrise Highway in Sayville. A 911 call came in at 8:46 a.m., police said.
According to police, several individuals were at the motel when two men got into an altercation. One of those men, Brian Clark, of Medford, punched the other man in the face, causing an injury to his nose, police said.

Clark then got into a vehicle and attempted to run over the owner of the motel before he crashed his car into the building, police said.
Clark fled the scene and crashed into a vehicle on the Sunrise Highway service road, police said. Clark was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident with property damage, DWI, aggravated unlicensed operation, third-degree assault, second-degree reckless endangerment and felony criminal mischief.
