More than 15,000 Long Islanders remain without power. See photos of some of the damage caused by the storm.

Long Islanders are continuing to clean up from a late October storm that slammed the region Sunday night into Monday. More than 10,000 PSEG Long Island customers remained without power as of 9:30 p.m. Monday.

Gusty winds caused issues on the Long Island Rail Road Monday morning with service suspensions on the Ronkonkoma and Montauk branches due to downed power lines.

Minor flooding was reported, mainly in coastal areas, but the story was the damaging winds, which at one point knocked out power to more than 40,000 PSEG customers.
