Breakfast and Birding, “Approaching Autumn”, Saturday, September 10, 2016 - 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Join Friends of Connetquot, Great South Bay Audubon Society and NY State Parks Environmental Education Office at Connetquot River State Park Preserve for Breakfast and Birding. While enjoying a free continental breakfast in this beautiful and historic park, there will be a short program which will introduce you to the birds around you as we approach autumn, this is followed by a walk through beautiful Connetquot Preserve accompanied by guides to find and identify the birds that may be permanent residents or migrating through Connetquot on their way south for the winter. The event will be held at, Connetquot River State Park Preserve, Sunrise Highway, Oakdale, Main Building

Breakfast is free, the program is $4.00 per Adult - $8 state mandated parking fee (none with a N.Y.S. Empire Pass). Registration is Required beginning 2 weeks prior to the event - Please call 631-581-1072 or email the Friends at rsvp@friedsofconnetquot.org.
