Motorcyclist Slams Into Car Stopped After Witnessing Crash: PD
The motorcyclist was seriously injured after striking a car that stopped after witnessing another car crash into the median, police say.
BOHEMIA, NY - A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a slamming into a car that pulled over after witnessing another car crash in Bohemia on Saturday night, according to Suffolk Police.
Erica Edwards, 27, of Brentwood was driving a 2009 Nissan Maxima westbound on Sunrise Highway, 1,000 feet east of Pond Road, when her car struck the median at 11:50 p.m.
The driver of a 2015 Mercedes Benz, 23-year-old Kelvin Bonilla, of Brentwood witnessed the crash and stopped his car behind the Nissan, which was then struck by a 2006 Suzuki motorcycle.

The motorcyclist, 42-year-old Daniel Acevedo, of Long Beach, was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore for treatment of serious injuries.
Edwards, Bonilla, and their two adult passengers were also transported to Southside Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
