Police Seeking Sayville Target Vacuum Thief
He fled the store through a fire exit and got into a gray four-door sedan, possibly a Ford Fusion, police say.
Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who they say stole vacuums from Target in Sayville.
On Wednesday, April 13, 2016, the man stole a Roomba robotic vacuum and several Dyson products, worth approximately $1,750, from the store located at 5750 Sunrise Highway.
The suspect fled through a fire exit and was seen leaving in a gray four-door sedan, possibly a Ford Fusion, police said. The man was involved in a similar theft at the same location on April 10, 2016 stealing a Dyson vacuum and Xbox.

The suspect is described as white, with a medium to heavy build. He was wearing dark-colored clothing and a dark-colored baseball cap.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
