Suffolk County Police officials responded to the incident. Out of an abundance of caution, we evacuated students and staff to Sylvan Avenue Elementary School in order to allow law enforcement officials to conduct a security sweep of the building.

Middle School dismissal will take place from Sylvan Avenue and students will not be permitted back into the building today. The YES after school program has been moved to Sylvan Avenue Elementary. All other Middle School activities have been cancelled for today.
