"The Greater Sayville Chamber of Commerce is so excited to have the Farmers' Market open up again after the winter," said Chamber of Commerce President Eileen Tyznar. "The smells and tastes of the Long Island foods, the fresh flower bouquets and the overall ambience of homegrown and farm to table is welcomed back to Sayville."

According to its Facebook event page, patrons who visit the market may park their vehicles on Old Montauk Highway at the south end of the market or in the North Field by the rest rooms.

The Town of Islip is restricting parking in the gravel parking area to other park users, due to space constraints and the lack of defined parking spaces, the event page said.

Drivers are instructed to enter the north field from Broadway Avenue at the northern end of the fence line and park neatly on the field. The gravel parking lot entrance may be blocked off by gates or barricades to prevent vehicular entrance.

New vendors who wish to be added to the waiting list for opportunities at the Sayville Market or elsewhere should email all of their relevant information to: SayvilleFarmersMarket@yahoo.com.
