Sayville Garden Club Names 6 Beautification Award Winners
3 homeowners and 3 local businesses were recognized for gardens and landscaping that beautify Sayville-area communities.

SAYVILLE, NY — The Sayville Garden Club has announced the recipients of its 2026 Beautification Awards, recognizing three homeowners and three local businesses for their landscaping and gardens.
Kerry and Bill Alessi received an award for their yard on Foster Avenue in Sayville, while Stu Parker was honored for his Astor Drive property in Sayville, which features a working water wheel.

Amy and Tom Badamo were also recognized for their gardens on Weeks Street in Blue Point.

The club also honored three businesses for their landscaping: Saturday Candy Co. on Gillette Avenue in Sayville, owned by Julia Brandt; Karasmatic Day Spa on Montauk Highway in Bayport, owned by Kara Morris; and Viva la Vida Restaurant on Montauk Highway in Oakdale, owned by Joel Salas.
“We appreciate all the work that goes into creating and maintaining these gardens, which contribute so much beauty to our communities,” the Sayville Garden Club said.
