Sayville High School Celebrates Class of 2026

Commencement Ceremony Honors Graduating Seniors

Sayville High School proudly celebrated the achievements of the class of 2026 during the school’s commencement ceremony on June 26, which was held on the football field behind the high school. Graduates crossed the stage to commemorate the culmination of their high school journeys, surrounded by family members, friends, teachers, district and building administrators, members of the Board of Education and the Sayville community.

Throughout the ceremony, the class of 2026 was recognized for its academic accomplishments, leadership, resilience and personal growth during its years in the Sayville School District. Valedictorian Mackenzie Schutte, salutatorian Anthony Artusa, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Marc Ferris, Principal Stephanie Bricker, Senior Class President Gabriella Vario, and Board of Education President Christine Sarni delivered inspiring messages on the graduates' experiences and encouraged them as they embark on their next chapter. Together, the ceremony celebrated not only the students' many achievements, but also the bright futures that await them beyond Sayville High School.

“It has been one of the greatest privileges of my career to watch the class of 2026 grow into the thoughtful, resilient, and accomplished young adults they are today,” Dr. Marc Ferris, Superintendent of Schools, said. “I know they will continue to make our community proud, and I wish each graduate every success and happiness in the journey ahead.”
