Flag Football Honor Reflects Student Commitment

Three Sayville High School student-athletes have been recognized among Suffolk County's top flag football players and scholars, earning prestigious postseason honors that reflect their excellence both on the field and in the classroom.

Senior Ella Trama was selected to the 2026 Suffolk County Golden Seven Flag Football Team, one of the highest individual honors awarded in the sport. Chosen from a pool of 38 Suffolk County Scholar Athletes, the Golden Seven Team recognizes the county's most accomplished student-athletes for their athletic achievements, academic success, leadership, and character.

In addition, Aniela Marino and Alexa Yacono were named to the Suffolk County All-County Flag Football Team, recognizing their outstanding performances throughout the season and their contributions to the success of the Sayville program. The honors serve as a testament to the dedication, perseverance, and sportsmanship displayed by the student-athletes throughout their high school careers.
