School Spirit Packed for Staff Basketball Game
Sayville Public Schools hosted an unforgettable evening of fun and school spirit on Tuesday, March 4 as the Harlem Wizards took the court against a team of Sayville teachers and staff.
The exhibition game blended impressive basketball skills with comedy, crowd interaction, and nonstop energy, entertaining students, families, and community members from start to finish. Faculty members swapped their classrooms for the court, drawing cheers and laughter as they joined in the friendly competition against the famous Harlem Wizards.
“Events like this showcase what makes Sayville so special,” said Superintendent Dr. Marc Ferris. “When our students, staff, and families come together in celebration, it strengthens our sense of community and creates memories that last well beyond a single evening.”
