Sayville's Spirit of Giving

Community working to provide for those in need during Thanksgiving.

The spirit of giving continues to hold strong in Sayville!

Another successful year of our community coming together to provide for our neighbors in need. The families from Creations Early Childhood Learning Center generously collected gift cards, canned vegetables and fruit, stuffing and mashed potatoes, gravy, desserts and so much more. Sayville Middle School students-Emma Clark, Morgan Zane and Lindsay Walker-volunteered their time to assemble the multiple cases of goods into recyclable bags donated by R.W. Truck Equipment.

Over 45 Thanksgiving dinners for families-of-four were delivered to St. Lawrence the Martyr Church Outreach Program. In addition, the Outreach was able to stock their shelves with canned and boxed items to help provide for our neighbors into the colder months.
