Silver Alert Issued For Missing Sayville Man

The Suffolk County Police department has issued a Silver Alert for a missing Sayville man.

Frederick Smith, 64, of Lakeland Avenue, was last seen leaving his residence in a unknown vehicle on Tuesday. Smith is described as black, 5-foot-7 and approximately 140 pounds. He is bald. It is unknown what Smith was wearing at the time he went missing, but he often wears glasses. Smith suffers from schizophrenia and wears a pacemaker due to heart complications.
