Suffolk County Police Officer Exam Coming Up, Informational Seminars to Be Held

The exam is only offered once every four years.

Want to become a Suffolk County Police officer? Now’s your chance.

On June 13, 2015, the Suffolk County Department of Civil Service will be offering an entrance examination for the position of police officer.

This exam is only offered once every four years.

The last day to file an application is April 1, 2015.

In addition, the police department will offering informational seminars to explain the process of becoming a Suffolk County Police officer.

Representatives from the Suffolk County Police recruitment unit, applicant investigation unit, and Civil Service will be in attendance.

Informational seminars are scheduled as follows:

  • Tuesday, Feb. 10, Brentwood Library, 34 Second Ave., Brentwood.
  • Tuesday, Feb. 24, William Floyd Library, 407 William Floyd Parkway, Shirley.
  • Thursday, March 5, Riverhead Library, 330 Court St., Riverhead.
  • Wednesday, March 18, Wyandanch Library14 South 20th St., Wyandanch.

All meetings will start promptly at 7 p.m.
