First-grade students at Sylvan Avenue Elementary School in the Bayport-Blue Point School District marked the 80th day of school this January with a spirited learning experience.
Dressed in their best 80s attire, the students listened to popular music of the 80s and compared the decade to today. They also counted by various increments to the number 80, created celebratory hats to wear and books about the popular time.
