Sylvan Students Bring Pumpkins To Life
Students at Sylvan Avenue Elementary school got into the Halloween spirit by decorating pumpkins like characters from stories.
SAYVILLE-BAYPORT, NY - From the Bayport-Blue Point School District: First-grade students from Bayport-Blue Point School District’s Sylvan Avenue Elementary School recently brought storybook characters to life by decorating pumpkins based on their chosen character’s likeness and writing a detailed report based on the reading. Pictured are students from Christina Law’s first-grade class showcasing their decorative pumpkins.
