Trio Arrested For Spray-Painting 17 Cars, 15 Businesses: Police

BREAKING: A pair of 19-year-olds and a 20-year-old called themselves the "No Sleep Team," police say.

Three men have been arrested for damaging more than two dozen businesses and vehicles with graffiti over the past two months, Suffolk Police said.

Following an investigation by Fifth Precinct Crime Section officers and patrol officers, the three men, who called themselves the "No Sleep Team", were identified in connection with spray-painting more than 40 tags on 17 vehicles and 15 businesses located in Bayport, Sayville, West Sayville, Oakdale, Bohemia and Ronkonkoma between Jan. 15 and March 19, police said.

  • Robert Ungarino, 19, of Bohemia, is charged with 14 counts of making graffiti
  • Kyle McDonnell, 19, of Ronkonkoma, is charged with 12 counts of making graffiti
  • Dillon Harrison, 20, of Ronkonkoma, is charged with one count of making graffiti

The men were issued desk appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear in First District Court in Central Islip at a later date. Anyone who has additional information or believes they may have been a victim is asked to contact the Fifth Precinct Crime Section at 631-854-8532.
