BOHEMIA, NY — A woman was critically injured, after her car was struck by another vehicle while she was attempting to make a left turn on Wednesday in Bohemia, Suffolk County Police said.

Lianna Marie Todaro, 26, of Holtsville, was driving a 2017 Nissan Rogue at about 6:50 a.m., police said. Todaro made a left turn to exit a parking lot on Lakeland Avenue north of Church Street, when her vehicle was struck by a northbound 2017 Dodge Ram, police said.

Todaro was taken to Long Island Community Hospital in Patchogue for treatment of critical injuries, police said. Anthony Gugliuzzo, 21, of Oakdale, the driver of the Ram, was not injured, police said.

No charges were filed, police said.

The vehicles were impounded for safety checks. Detectives are asking anyone with information on the crash to contact the Fifth Squad at 631-854-8552.
