Body Washes Ashore in Dobbs Ferry
Sources say it could be the body of a woman who jumped from the Tappan Zee Bridge early this morning.
A body has washed ashore on the banks of the Hudson River in Dobbs Ferry's Waterfront Park.
The body has yet to be identified, but could be that of 19-year-old Elizabeth Lynch-Gonzalez, a resident of Shrub Oak who jumped from the bridge this morning.
"It's more than likely that it is the same person that jumped from the bridge last night," said Noel Nelson, an officer with the New York State Troopers. "But positive identification has yet been made."

The body has been transported to the Westchester County Examiners Office in Valhalla for autopsy. Police said that recovery was aided by a smooth river and currents that were not strong.
The body was first discovered by a passerby who came into the Hallf Moon Restaurant to report the sighting. Dympna Broderick, an employee at the establishment, said the individual entered the restaurant at 11:15 a.m. and asked employees to call police.
