Bookends explores the complexities of caregiving, intergenerational relationships, and finding purpose in life’s unexpected chapters. After a difficult breakup, Nate (Noam Ash) reluctantly moves into his grandparents’ retirement community, where he finds himself navigating family expectations, new relationships, and the challenges that arise as his Holocaust-surviving grandfather Saul (F. Murray Abraham) begins showing signs of cognitive decline.
