Spend
an evening with best-selling author Jacqueline Friedland and moderator
Vanessa Kroll Bennett as they discuss Friedland’s newest novel, Breathing Under Water.
In this moving story of resilience, family, and unexpected connection, two women facing challenges find their lives intertwined through a teenage boy with autism. As each navigates impossible choices and personal struggles, they discover the strength that can emerge through compassion, community, and the willingness to accept help.
Moderated by Vanessa Kroll Bennett, the conversation will explore the inspiration behind the novel, Jacqueline’s writing process, and the themes of motherhood, caregiving, sacrifice, and human connection that shape the story. Audience members will have the opportunity to ask questions during the Q&A, followed by time to mingle and have their books signed.
Admission: $36 (includes a copy of the book)
