College Hoops Fan From Scarsdale Selected For Super Fan March Madness Experience
Josh Levy to see what it's like to select teams for NCAA Division I tournament.
College basketball fan Josh Levy, a 2006 Scarsdale High School grad, is getting an unusual inside look at March Madness.
Levy, 23, is one of a 10-member group of fans who will have a chance to see what it's like to sit on the Division I Men’s Basketball Committee face during Selection Weekend. The NCAA.com Super 10 Fan Selection Committee was chosen via a contest on the NCAA March Madness Facebook page.
The Super 10 committee, made up of nine men and one woman, are set to travel to Turner Studios in Atlanta this weekend to take part in a Mock Selection experience for the 2012 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament.

“This contest is a unique opportunity for basketball fans to not only learn how the selection process works, but to participate and actually put together a tournament bracket in real time,” said Ronnie Ramos, the NCAA’s managing director for digital communication.
The Super 10 will go through a similar process to the one the official selection committee is conducting in Indianapolis. The Super 10 will use the Nitty Gritty Reports, RPI and other NCAA information to analyze, break down and select teams for their March Madness bracket.

The fans will release their 68-team bracket at the end of Selection Sunday. You can follow the drama all weekend at NCAA.com and NCAA March Madness Facebook page.
Levy is a Syracuse University graduate, a Sport Management major, who currently works and resides in Manhattan.
"I work at one of the largest talent agencies in the world called WME, where I'm an assistant in the non-scripted television department," Levy said. "My career goal is to represent on-air broadcast talent in the news, entertainment and sports fields. Because of of my deep connection to sports, in high school I used to broadcast various Scarsdale High School sporting events, including ones I even played in, as I would sometimes do voice-overs after my Varsity Soccer games. Once I realized I didn't think I had the talent to make it as an on-air broadcast talent, I made it my career goal to represent those who could. Throughout my life I have always been a passionate sports fan with allegiances to the Rangers, Yankees, Giants and Knicks."
