Edgemont’s soccer team looked good on the road as they picked up the victory. On the other hand the school’s volleyball team failed to win a set at Eastchester.

Yesterday’s Results:

Sport: Boy’s Soccer

Game: Edgemont @ Saunders

Score:  Edgemont Won 4-2

Highlights: Alex Miller picked up two goals for Edgemont en route to the 4-2 win. Tom Young also scored as Jared Simon had 5 saves for the team. Augustine Mfodwo picked up two goals in the loss for Saunders.

Sport: Volleyball

Game: Edgemont @ Eastchester

Score:  Edgemont Lost 3-0

Highlights: Eastchester took on Edgemont and won fairly convincingly in straight sets 25-12, 25-17, and 25-13. The Eagles were led by Catherine Manning who had 12 kills and an assist and Amy DePippo who added 4 kills and 12 assists. In the losing effort Tinli Yarrington had 19 assists for the Panthers.

Today’s Schedule:

In field hockey, Scarsdale will head to White Plains to take on the Tigers at 4:15.

In girl’s soccer, Scarsdale will face the Huguenots at New Rochelle High School at 4:30.

In girl’s swimming, Eastchester and Scarsdale will face off at Westchester Community College at 5.

In volleyball, Scarsdale and White Plains will battle it out at 4:15 at White Plains High School.

In field hockey, Edgemont will head to Bronxville to take on the Trojans at 4:15.

In girl’s tennis, Rye Neck and Edgemont will square off at 4:15.

In volleyball, Edgemont will head to Briarcliff for a 4:30 match.
