Girls' tennis took center stage yesterday as the top-seeded tandem of Christine Ho and Casey Rogovin competed in the doubles championships.
With the majority of the fall seasons over for local teams, high school students are beginning to prepare for winter sports. One of the sports that is still going strong is girls' swimming, which held their preliminaries last night at Felix Festa Middle School.

Score: Cruz/Cruz Won 7-5, 6-2
Highlights: New Rochelle’s Jessie and Cassidy Cruz defeated Edgemont’s top- seeded Christine Ho and Casey Rogovin in the championship match.

Game: Section One Preliminaries
Scarsdale Highlights: The Scarsdale team finished 12th in the 200 Freestyle Relay, and Katherine Suen came in tenth in the 200 Individual Medley.
Edgemont Highlights: The team, comprised of Sleepy Hollow/Edgemont and Irvington, had Megan Gallagher finish second in the 100 and 200 Freestyle events.
