Edgemont’s tandem of Christine Ho and Casey Rogovin beat their Panther teammates as they went on to win the section’s doubles championship.
Scarsdale had a rough day as the boys’ soccer, field hockey and volleyball teams all fell. The boys' soccer team from Edgemont also lost, but the school’s field hockey team pulled out a 1-0 victory in a game that spanned a few days.

Game: Section 1 Championships
Score: Ho/Rogovin Won 6-2, 6-4
Highlights: Christine Ho and Casey Rogovin from Edgemont beat their teammates Tomo Iwasaki and Alexa Goldberg for the section 1 doubles championship at the Sound Shore Tennis Club in Port Chester.
Sport: Boy’s Soccer
Game: Horace Greeley @ Scarsdale
Score: Horace Greeley Won 3-0
Highlights: Horace Greeley upset Scarsdale on the strength of goals from three different players. In the loss, Zachery Shabman had eight saves.
Sport: Field Hockey
Game: Scarsdale @ Carmel
Score: Carmel Won 0-0 (4-2 Penalty Strokes)
Highlights: After a scoreless regulation and overtime, the game went into penalty strokes. Carmel outscored Scarsdale 4-2 and came away with the victory.
Sport: Volleyball
Game: Scarsdale @ North Rockland
Score: North Rockland Won 3-0
Highlights: Scarsdale’s volleyball season ended yesterday as the Raiders fell at North Rockland in straight sets 25-19, 25-18 and 25-14. In the loss, Carina Spiro had 12 kills and Greta Miconi had 11.

Game: Somers @ Edgemont
Score: Edgemont Won 1-0
Highlights: The game started days ago, but thanks to the weather it was suspended until yesterday and resumed at White Plains High School. Julie Katter scored the games only goal, and Elizabeth Curtis had 10 saves.
Sport: Boy’s Soccer
Game: Edgemont @ Irvington
Score: Irvington Won 1-0 (OT)
Highlights: Jon Goldreich gave Irvington the win as he scored off a Ben Ovetsky pass in overtime. In the loss, David Spielvogel had eight saves.
