Alene Gurin Art Exhibit

The acrylic paintings of Alene Gurin, an Armonk artist, will be on display in the Kanner Kurzon Museum at Beth El through Nov. 12. Mrs. Gurin's work conveys her interpretation of the beauty and moods of man and nature. She uses bright, clear acrylic colors in a gel medium, applying it to the canvas with a knife and adding some brushwork.

Mrs. Gurin's paintings are included in many corporate and private art collections, including that of Ivan Boesky Corp. and Pitney Bowes. She has had a number of solo shows and her work has won many awards. The exhibit can be viewed daily, but if the room is locked, please get the key from the office or from the greeter at the front door. The gallery is open Saturday and Sunday mornings.
