Barbara Korman exhibit opening reception in the Kanner-Kurzon Museum at Beth El Synagogue Center
Meet Barbara Korman, a colorful and creative artist who works in two and three dimensional constructions, bronze castings and acrylics, at the artist's reception on Sunday, Nov. 14, from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Kanner-Kurzon Museum at Beth El Synagogue Center.
Korman's work draws from her travels and varied life experiences. Korman's acrylics will be on display through Dec. 19. Her work has been exhibited in more than 100 prestigious group and solo exhibits in leading museums and art galleries.
A graduate of New York City's High School of Music and Art, she earned bachelor's and master's degrees in fine arts at the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University. Named a "StyleMaker'' by the New York Times, she is a former president and the current program director of the Katonah Artists' Association. The museum is open daily, but if locked, you can request the key from the office or the greeter at the front door.
