Are you prepared for emergencies? You are invited to attend a program on disaster preparedness sponsored by The Scarsdale Woman's Club at 37 Drake Road in Scarsdale on Wednesday, January 18, at 2 p.m. Richard Edelson, a member of the Community Response Team of the Town of Greenburgh, will discuss how to be ready when unforeseen events such as power outages, floods, and storms occur.
Questions to be answered: What is a "go" bag? What should be in it? Where should it be kept? What should be done for handicapped family members and neighbors? What emergency equipment should be acquired?
These questions and many more from the audience will be answered during this one-hour program.
