It’s Not So Hard Being Green: Best Ideas for Reducing Carbon Emissions in Your Daily Life

An free adult program at Greenburgh Nature Center. This program is also suitable for high school students.

"Come share what you are doing to reduce your carbon footprint and move toward a more sustainable lifestyle. Bring up to ten digital photos on a usb and tell about your efforts to go green.  If you don’t have photos, bring a show-and-tell object that you use that reduces your greenhouse gas emissions or just tell us about your carbon reducing discoveries. We’ll learn from each other about what works best, how much it costs, how much it reduces our greenhouse gas emissions and how much we save.  At the end of the evening, we’ll add up how much we saved, both in dollars and in greenhouse gas emissions. This program will be held at the Nature Center in partnership with the Sierra Club Lower Hudson Chapter."
