The Scarsdale Adult School is offering this lecture on Italian Masterpieces.
Linda Wolk-Simon, Curator in the Department of Drawings and Prints at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, will survey some of the greatest artistic masterpieces of the Italian Renaissance, from Masaccio's ground-breaking frescoes in the Brancacci Chapel in Florence to Donatello's David to Boticelli's Primavera and Birth of Venus.
Wold-Simon recently received an award for excellence for an essay on Raphel from the Association of Art Museum Curators.
