Would you recognize the signs of dating violence?
The sad answer? Probably not. Teen dating abuse is hidden, subtle and baffling to even the most involved parents.
That’s why the Scarsdale Coalition on Family Violence is cosponsoring the Scarsdale High School PTA November 8th meeting, to be held at 7:45 am in the Little Theater.

Come learn the warning signs of unhealthy teen relationships, how to skillfully intervene as a parent, and available community resources. To demonstrate teen dating dynamics, SHS Drama club students will perform a skit and a panel discussion will follow. In addition, Fordham University’s Assistant Director of Health Services will be on hand to discuss college dating. Only 33% of teens in an abusive relationship ever tell anyone—please come and help us improve that statistic!
