Arts, Crafts and Music with Melissa Green: Thursday, June 17th , from 3.30pm at Citibabes Scarsdale
On Thursday June 17 Melissa Green – the wonderful engaging NYC inspirational singer-- will be playing, singing, and entertaining kids of all ages at Citibabes Scarsdale. With her lively beats, Green is sure to have the whole family boppin'! All are welcome – members and non-members, and arts and crafts will be available from 3.30pm for those little ones wishing to really demonstrate their artistic flair and make a Father's Day present for Dad! Concert starts at 4pm.
Melissa Green is a well known children's singer and entertainer – both on the East and West coasts – and she began singing with kids while a pre-school teacher in New York City. With encouragement Melissa learned how to play guitar and became the school's music and movement specialist. Further inspired by her students Melissa began writing songs and with the help of a very talented Beau Elliott they began writing and recording together. Melissa brought her children's music to the west coast after relocating to Los Angeles in 2005. Her debut CD "HERE WE GO" was released in 2006. Melissa continues to teach music at various East and West coast preschools and enjoys touring and performing.
