Scarsdale Library To Host Young Writer's Workshop

The Scarsdale Library is hosting a young writer's workshop geared to aspiring poets, journalists and novelists in the fourth and fifth grades. The program, which will be run by the Hudson Valley Writer's Center, will teach these young writers secrets of turning ordinary writing into extraordinary writing and make their words come to life on the page.  

In eight weekly sessions, beginning on Tuesday, Feb. 7th at 6 p.m., young writers will work closely with an award-winning writer and educator who will offer expert feedback on ongoing writing projects and stimulating writing exercises that will help students become more engaged and resourceful writers. The workshop will culminate in public reading featuring the young writers' work and a celebration. 
 

Registration is Required for this event, only through the Hudson Valley Writer's Center site http://writerscenter.org There is a tuition fee for this program.
