School's Out/Art's In!

• Drop into the Learning Center on these school vacation days for special art activities inspired by the exhibition Mapping: Memory and Motion in Contemporary Art. Each day a different project will explore maps in a new way, from creating three-dimensional globes and collages to painting maps of imaginary lands.

Monday, December 27: Painted Treasure Maps

Tuesday, December 28: Map Mobiles

Wednesday, December 29: 3-D Globes and Stars

Thursday, December 30: Map-themed Cards

Friday, December 31: Decorative Boxes and Bags

Children under age 6 must participate with an adult; 7and older, adults must remain at the Museum. Adults pay regular Museum admission, participating children: $3 members, $6 non-members
