Shabbat Shirah at WRT

Westchester Reform Temple's annual Shabbat Shirah (Sabbath of Song) will take place on Friday, February 3, beginning at 6:15 pm, featuring, as in past years, Rabbi Dario Feiguin and musicians from his synagogue in Buenos Aires, Comunidad Amijai.  He will be joined for the first time this year by renowned musicians Pablo Aslan, on string and acoustic bass, Margot Leverett on clarinet, and JP Jofre on bandoneon.

This team of incredible musicians will also perform later in the evening as part of a musical oneg.  The program will include Jewish Folk, Tango, Jazz and Global music.  This portion of the evening is scheduled to begin at 8:30 pm.

Immediately following services at 7:30 pm, a dinner of authentic Argentinean dishes will be served; reserve the dinner early, as space is limited: $40 for adults, $18 for children, payable in advance online at www.wrtemple.org.  Please note reservations are not required for Shabbat evening services or for the musical oneg later in the evening.  All programs are open to the community.
