The Spelling Bee Poster Project is jointly sponsored by the Village of Scarsdale Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department and The Friends of the Scarsdale Library in conjunction with the Friends of the Scarsdale Library's Adult/Teen Spelling Bee Fundraiser on January 28.
For: All K-5th grade students who attend the Scarsdale Schools or are Scarsdale residents.
Poster Requirements:

- Posters should be on a 8 1/2 x 11 inch white sheet of paper
- "Bee Creative" subject matter may deal with any aspect of a spelling bee contest, bees or spelling in general
- Crayons, markers, pens, paints, collage are all acceptable art forms
- Child's name should be written on the bottom right of the poster
Deadline: Friday, December 17 2010. Completed posters should be placed in the "Spelling Bee Poster Box" at the circulation desk at the Scarsdale Library.
Artwork Displayed: Completed posters will be displayed in the Scott Room at the Scarsdale Library prior to the Spelling Bee Fundraiser and at Scarsdale High School on the night of the spelling bee contest.
