The 75 member Westchester Band presents its first of seven free concerts under the direction of Alan Hollander in Chase Park on Thursday June 30th at 8:00pm. Titled "Chase Park Celebration", the band will perform a wide selection of music for all ages plus the popular "mystery tune". Guess the correct title and you could win a prize donated by a local merchant. Soloist for this concert is the entire tuba section performing "Deep River". You will also hear several selections in connection with the Fourth of July. The concerts are sponsored by the Scarsdale Dept. of Recreation and Friends of the Westchester Band. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and enjoy a musical night under the stars right in downtown Scarsdale.
