Westchester Band

Chase Park in Scarsdale is the place to be at 8:00pm on Thursday night July 14th for the third free concert by the 90 piece Westchester Band. Under the direction of Alan Hollander, the band will showcase Maryellen Shepley on piccolo playing "Theme and Variations", "New Hampshire Hornpipe" and the piccolo solo on "Stars and Stripes Forever". You'll hear Broadway show tunes, light classics, dixieland and the popular "mystery tune". Join your neighbors and bring a lawn chair or blanket or a picnic and enjoy a summer evening under the stars. These concerts are sponsored by the Scarsdale Dept. of Parks and Recreation and Friends of the Westchester Band.
