The 97 member Westchester Band under the direction of Alan Hollander continues their series of free concerts in Chase Park on Thursday July 28th at 8:00pm. "Marching Along" is the title of this concert which features baritone horn soloist Walter Barrett playing a mix of popular and classical standards. The band will play a variety of pop, show tunes, marches and the popular "mystery tune" which could win you a prize from a local merchant. The concerts are sponsored by the Scarsdale Dept. of Parks and Recreation and Friends of the Westchester Band. Bring a lawn chair, blanket or a picnic and enjoy a lovely concert right in your home town.
