Within easy view of the Dunkin' Donuts workers, Burrows and his friend Timothy Cacace, who owns a service station on Central Park Ave. called Master Mechanix, were spotted using cocaine in broad daylight around 8 a.m. that Friday. When a sheriff arrived, the officer spotted Burrows dusting cocaine off the seat of the vehicle.

Justice Robert McNally accepted the reduced charges to which Burrows and Cacace both plead – disorderly conduct.

The attorney who represented both of them, Joseph Brennan, refused to speak with Patch following Monday's court hearing in Queensbury, N.Y.

Today, a spokeswoman from the Board of Legislators said she is not aware of what steps the board may be taking with regards to Burrows, but Patch noticed that the legislator was not present at a BOL meeting this morning with the League of Women Voters.

"Because this is a very...interesting situation, I'll let the minority leader speak to you about that issue," said Tara Martin, the BOL's press secretary.

Several calls to Minority Leader James Maisano's office were not returned by this evening.

At Burrows' Yonkers home in the Colonial Heights neighborhood, his wife Christine answered the door shortly after 5 p.m., but declined to answer questions from Patch.

"He's not home right now, sorry," she said, before shutting the door quickly.
