October 2013: Hernan Prada Hair, a full-service salon located in Scarsdale, New York and named 2013 Best of Westchester winner for Balayage, has announced a fall fundraising initiative. One day each month starting November 7th, 50% of every Balayage service at the salon will be donated to the Caron Pennsylvania Treatment Center.
After years of sobriety and struggling with addiction, Hernan wanted to give back. “I chose the Caron Treatment Center because it has a specialized program for adolescents struggling with addiction, something not offered elsewhere,” Hernan said. The monthly donations from Hernan Prada Hair will help young adults who otherwise couldn’t afford treatment. Hernan Prada Hair is located at 130 Brook Street, located near the Vernon Hills Shopping Center. The salon is open Monday-Sunday. Hours are 10am-7pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. On Monday and Thursday, the salon is open until 8pm, Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday, 11am-4pm.
