Poker Tournament Supports Families of Veterans (Photos)
More than a hundred members of the Policeman's Benevolence Association showed up to help support families of wounded servicemen at last night's poker tournament.
Last night the Westchester Manor played host to enthusiastic members of the Scarsdale Police Department - none of them in uniform.
It was the servicemen and women of another kind of uniform that they were there to support. The PBA raised over $25,000 through ticket sales for the dinner and poker tournament, all of which is going to help families who are visiting wounded soldiers that are recovering at Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
